Firstly………An introduction to AirSea Lines
In September of 2004 for the first time in nearly 70 years AirSea Lines Limited (“ASLI”), through its Greek subsidiaries ASL GR and Pegasus established ownership of the first commercial seaplane operation in Greece.
AirSea Lines came to fill in the inadequacies of the current transportation system by offering seaplanes as an alternative mode of transport. Under its commercial brand Pegasus Aviation and partly owned by Harbour Air in Canada, AirSea Lines started flying tourists and residents from Corfu to Paxos with two aircraft (Twin Otters), giving an end to the uncomfortable and long slow ferry journeys that take the gloss off island-hopping holidays in Greece, while offering a quick, affordable, safe and exciting alternative.
After a year of successful operations with a proven quality service and happy passengers, our company expanded with scheduled flights from Corfu to Paxos, Lefkada, Patra, and Ithaki. In addition, the first ever direct seaplane route from Corfu to Brindisi giving residents and tourists of both Greece and Italy a wider choice of places to explore and an easy solution to hopping around this stunning region. AirSea Lines is a Greek owned company, which is supported with the knowledge and expertise that has been developed with Harbour Air of Canada, the largest seaplane operator in the world. |

The flight departs from Gouvia Marina and arrives at the port of Gaios in Paxos where you will then be taken on a boat tour to the famous sea - caves of Paxos, to see the clearest sea you have ever seen in all its hues of blue and green reflecting on the rocks. You will most definitely get the feeling of being in a fairy-tail adventure!
You will continue to Antipaxos sandy Beach where another pleasant surprise is waiting for you. Green tropical waters surround you and the hot white sand welcomes you, in a unique seascape. You have more than an hour and a half to enjoy the swim to the crystal clear waters and relax in the beach bar before the boat takes you back for the return flight back to Gouvia, Corfu.

You will board on our seaplane at 7:40 in the morning for a 40” enjoyment of Greece’s splendor from above. Upon arrival to Ithaca we will take you on board the boat “Mana Korina” to sail the same waters as Ulysees and explore the caves of the island. You will then arrive at Afales beach where you will have a chance to swim in the crystal clear waters and feast on Greek barbeque that we will prepare for you right there on the beach. Just be careful not to eat too many lotus fruits and avoid the Sirenes. They may hold you here forever. After all you flight back will be even more enjoyable. Flight Information
You are kindly requested to be present at the Terminal 30 minutes prior to your departure time for the formalities of check-in. For busy flights/ dates 40-50 minutes is recommended in order to best serve your interests.
Food & Beverage - Due to the short flying time between our destinations, catering service is not provided on our routes. Passengers may carry approved beverage containers for personal consumption and small packaged food products subject to inspection by boarding personnel.
Special Requests - We are always happy to try and accommodate your special requests. All we ask is that you give us as much notice as possible – clearly, there are many services that we cannot arrange on the spot when you arrive at the port that we could arrange with a few days notice.
Wheelchair Assistance - AirSea Lines will never charge for the carriage of a wheelchair. We are delighted to carry wheelchairs for our passengers, subject only to limitations of space aboard. Please contact the Affordable-Corfu office in order to arrange this. If you wish to bring your powered wheelchair, we must ask that the battery is sealed and disconnected for the duration of the flight. If you need just a little extra help getting on and off our aircraft, or a wheelchair at the port, please contact us, and we'd be delighted to help.
Guide Dogs - If you have to travel with your guide dog, we'd be happy to fly your dog with you in the cabin, free of charge. Please note that the law forbids us from carrying more than two dogs per flight; please contact us for more information. We are, in common with most airlines, unable to carry pets in the cabin. Under no circumstances will AirSea Lines carry firearms either on board or as checked baggage. |

|
| |
Baggage Policy
Baggage Policy – Any aircraft is sensitive to weight and our seaplanes are no different. In order to ensure a safe and comfortable flight to all our passengers, Pegasus Aviation Ltd. has adopted a strict Baggage policy. If you should have any questions, please contact our office for further information. All AirSea Lines flights are operated by Pegasus Aviation Ltd.
Baggage – We will happily carry 12 kg / 26.4 lbs of baggage for each passenger on a flight. Where load permits, we will also take baggage over this limit on payment of an excess baggage fee of €2.00 per kilo per sector. In addition, any piece of baggage, which individually exceeds the limit of 12kg/ 26.4 lbs may need to be transported at a later flight. There is a maximum single item weight of 30 kg/ 66 lbs. Please note that infants under the age of 2 years are not entitled to a baggage allowance.
Excess Weight & Special Items – If you should be traveling with any piece of baggage weighing more than 12kg/ 26.4 lbs each and want to ensure your bags will travel with you on the same flight, it is strongly recommended that you book and pay for an extra seat. Pegasus Aviation Ltd. will then allocate 60 kg / 132 lbs of extra baggage allowance for you. You must pay for the extra seat even if you only utilize part of the extra baggage allowance. Extra seats for the purpose of the extra baggage allowance must be booked in advance and may not be available in all flights. An extra seat must also be purchased in advance for the purpose of accommodating oversized baggage items which must be carried on board, such as musical instruments. Oversized items requiring additional handling include surfboards, golf clubs, skis, bicycles, musical instruments and all other bulky equipment, will be charged at €15.00 per sector per item with additional charge of €2.00 for each kilo exceeding the weight limit of 12Kg/ 26.4 lbs, and will only be carried subject to space availability on the aircraft. Please note that we cannot accept bicycles unless they are properly packaged. Please arrange this with our call centre prior to arriving at the airport. Under no circumstances will Pegasus Aviation Ltd. carry firearms on board. Carriage of baggage is not allowed in the passenger cabin of our aircraft. Only items absolutely essential to passenger’s may be taken in the cabin and only if they can be accommodated in the individual seat pockets. Liquids are prohibited according to the EU legislation since November 6, 2006. All items should be weighed before they are allowed on board.
Prohibited Items - In addition to the list of dangerous items prohibited for carriage in baggage, regulations prohibit the following items from being carried onboard in the cabin. Toy or replica guns (plastic or metal), catapults, household cutlery, knives with blades of any length, Pen knives as part of a key ring, paper knives, razor blades, tradesmen's tools, darts, scissors, tweezers, hypodermic syringes (unless a genuine medical need can be proven), knitting needles, sporting bats, billiard, snooker or pool cues.
Under no circumstances will Pegasus Aviation Ltd. carry firearms on board its aircraft.
Authorized Pegasus personnel as well as airport security personnel may refuse items not listed above which may endanger passengers and crew.
Lost Baggage - In the unlikely event that your checked baggage is lost, stolen or damaged whilst in the care of Pegasus Aviation Ltd. or one of our ground handling agents, this should be immediately reported to the ground handling staff upon arrival at the destination. You must ensure that a Property Irregularity Report (PIR) is completed before you leave the port of arrival. Most delayed bags are located within 48 hours and returned as soon as possible. In case that Pegasus Aviation Ltd discovers that the baggage is lost, stolen or damaged, its liability is limited to reimbursement, as provided by the rules of the Greek Aviation Code (Law 1815/ 88). In case that Pegasus Aviation Ltd. proves that it had taken all necessary measures to avoid this loss or damage, it bears no liability. We advise you not to check any baggage containing jewellery, money, checks, stocks, shares or any other object or valuables, which cannot be replaced. |
